From LoveToKnow Travel
Consider taking a 28 day travel in China if you want to really experience all that this beautiful country has to offer.
Searching for the Right Tour Company
Whether or not you are familiar with a 28 day travel in China tour, you'll want to choose a travel company wisely. You will be spending several thousand dollars for the tour, and you'll want that money to be well spent. As you begin searching for a touring company to handle your travel details, look for the following inclusions:
- Money: Do you know from the start what this trip will cost? This should include all fees, including internal flight rates and any applicable lodging, travel, and government taxes.
- Accommodations: Are you traveling alone or with a friend or partner? What kind of room accommodations are you looking for? If you are traveling alone, do you mind sharing a room or do you want a room to yourself? What features/luxuries will be expected at the hotel?
- Food: Tours typically provide at least some meals. Your hotel rate often includes breakfast. Depending upon how detailed your tour might be, you may also find that daily lunches and/or suppers are included as well.
- Tour Guides/Drivers: Navigating any unfamiliar area on your own can be stressful, and a lengthy, planned tour should include a knowledgeable tour guide. If you are traveling in a very small group, you may also expect to have a driver with a private vehicle.
- Admission Fees: As you can imagine, a 28 day travel in China will be filled with a host of tourist sites, and many of these will charge a fee for admission. A structured tour should include most, if not all, of these fees as well.
- Travel Permits: Depending upon the area of China you are touring, such as Tibet, you may be expected to obtain a travel permit. This application fee should be included in your tour package.
